Listen to the DonkeyWalloper (not every day you get to say that) ... the Pamps webcam is right at the bottom, in fact what you see is a big piece of waste ground ... the bottom is way over on the top left hand side of the picture. If you're a beginner head up the chairlift (being careful not to drop anything, if anyone remembers that from a few years ago) to the TV tower and down the other side ... there's a lovely wide green/blue up there that's a good laugh.

I have been to pamps and the webcam is at the very bottom of the slope. It really is not a true indication of the snow conditions. Try and imagine a chair lift that takes like 5 minutes to get to the top of the mountain. The snow at the top will be so much better.
