Wine Lovers

Just reading this months copy of delicious magazine(£2.50 at all good newsagents I am not a ponce really!) Good article on Merlot and Bulgaria gets a mention! It says and I quote "For a bargain it's still hard to beat Bulgaria's cheerful, bright, cherryish wines." I can personnaly endorse this as I have been known to consume large volumes of the stuff (hic..) and it is dirt cheep over there so get drinking the stuff people and help do your bit for the local economy! re: Wine Lovers

Daniel, I have the same passion for wines!
You can try "Mavrud" red wine from the region of Assenovgrad and "Traminer" white wine from the region of Targoviste. Other good brands are "Domain Boyar" wines, "Vini Sliven" wines /the rose is not bad/ and the Todoroff wines /they are boutique wines/.
Cheers!

re: Wine Lovers

Oh I see, Heathrows not a bad run for you really is it. Been trying to sort my taxi out (mini bus really- have 8 going) quotes range from £90 each way to £120.

I guess you must have some good regulars to keep you busy or do you have contacts with local cab firms?

re: Wine Lovers

Yeah not bad worth £50 this morning plus a £4 tip! But it was during rush hour which I hate. I have quite a lot of regulars but am still building the business+ worst time of year at the moment for everyone not just me. Still have a couple more good jobs this week so I should be ok Very Happy

re: Wine Lovers

Glad to see it's picking up for you, do you get loads of airport runs or just whatever comes your way?

Agree that Heathrow at rushhour is a nightmare - you earnt every penny of your fare + tip
