re: Wizzair flights

This makes me feel good!

Next year we have to go Feb half term due to exams etc.

I booked flights from Gatwick-Sofia back in March and paid just under £700 for 4 of us. Not only is Gatwick more convenient for us than Luton, but the flights are at nice sensible times. I was a bit concerned at booking so early, but the flights I booked are now coming up at almost £1000.

Wizzair is coming up at £732 for the 4 of us, and the flights are at not-so-nice times.

So YAAAY I got a good deal! I am happy!

(Until easyjet go on sale and I find we could all have gone for something like £200, but I thought I'd probably miss the day the sale started and end up paying more given it is peak time of year. Anyway I think £160 a head for inclusive return flights is not a bad price at all so I won't feel too miffed if a cheaper deal does come up.)

Happy 2009 everyone!

re: Wizzair flights

It's not all about the weather Mikey for us. We wanted to be away with our Bulgarian friends for xmas. If it snows for xmas, well what a bonus that would be eh!

re: Wizzair flights

Thanks for the heads up Arron. Mikey I take your point but with flights getting every more expensive I'll take a punt on the end of Jan and hope for the best.

Never flown with them, are they as bad as easyjet or betterQuestion
What do you get for your money?
Booked snowboards in, but are they strict on sports equipment weight, normally pack the boardbag out with extra clothing?
