Pete, thanks for your confirmation.
Tim L, if you search for 'bansko maps' on google you will find a website with the same name...this has a brand new detailed map of Bansko attached...and was the subject of my original post.
Search facility needs to work - I've tried to search a number of times for info prev posted and nothing comes up - maybe along the lines of a computer search when you can key in a few letters?
Also, no up to date info on reports/archives - yes - I know what archive is, but nothing recent seems to be on.
How about dates for competitions, then we know when to aboid the crowds?
I agree with Dave H up there ^^ I'm coming to Bansko with some friends for the 1st time, (and my first snowboarding holiday) on the 20th of Feb. Even in the short time I've been frequenting this site I've seen the same questions asked repeatedly.
Hornster it is supposed to be a discussion forum why would you register before you post? and what would that achieve? apart from creating a small group of like minded people congratulating each other?
at the top of the forum there should be a listing of the top 10 most asked questions for each resort.giving the answers to the same.this would be informative for site visitors
Yes, a FAQ sticky topic would be good - perhaps one for Bulgaria general and then one for each of the 3 main resorts.
A phpbb style forum gives much greater flexibility for organising the threads.
if people have to register before posting it allows you to build a database of posters, should help to remove some of the trolls as they wouldnt' be able to continually change their names on the forum.
