Yastrebetz main lift and getting to Popangelov

Just trying to figure out what is skiable at the moment and it looks like the short blue (Haramia) at the top of Yastrebetz main lift is closed yet the lift is open? But I cannot see how you can get down onto Popangelov or Yastrebetz 3 without going down this run. Am I missing something?Cheers

There is a shuttle bus to Yastrebets express. Cheers

Mark, i think your looking at the yastrebets gondala, which takes you to the top of Haramia. This isnt on, but the Yastrebets express which is the chair lift thats takes you to the top of popangelov is running.re:Yastrebetz main lift and getting to Popangelov
Thanks Roland, I can see how the Express lift is OK but rather than having to get the shuttle bus there i was hoping to use the Yastrebetz gondala up. Alex, you say this isn't on but the Borovets BG website says its open ( http://www.borovets-bg.com/en/tracks/ski_runs_lifts/ )! hence my confusion.re:Yastrebetz main lift and getting to Popangelov
so it does!you would think that it would be one or the other...
gondala off and shuttle bus to the express or
gondala on and no shuttle bus :/

Hi,You can catch gondala up to top, and have met a few people today who have skied it down to yastrebets chair, they said it was open but rocky.I can't confirm that . The shuttle bus to yastrebets chair works well and they are the best runs open by far IMO.
Yastrebets skied well today, all day. The pathways from mid gondala I believe are shut, I believe.
Let's all hope for more snow tonight.

Thanks John,It would be great to get some idea of how much more snow is needed to open more runs as the skiing is clearly limited right now and going up and down 2 runs for a week isn't quite what I'm hoping for. But not out till 8th Feb so more snow forecast before than. Who knows, will just keep dancing, it seemed to work for the Invasion forces.
