Hi All
Just a note about yesterdays wierd stuff, thanks to all who cared enough to mention things here - Dan, ONH and several others.
On the subject, a quick reminder for Sophie, Tanya and Tomba and any other kids that we know of and care about - Always be super careful when talking to someone online for the first time unless you know who it is, never give out personal info (mobile numbers - address etc) unless you are 100% sure of who you are talking to. I know you guys ...

I know you guys are not stupid, but the wierd people on line are very smart and have lots of ways to make you believe all sorts. I'm not trying to tell you what to do or to be too heavy handed, but all the genuine posters here - IMT included - I'm sure wouldn't forgive ourselves if anything bad happened right under our noses.
It seems to have all gone quiet on the 'wierd' front since we started to raise concerns, but as long as we all keep a bit of an eye on things, all will be just fine.
People can say all sorts on line - you all know that I'm tall, dark & devastatingly good looking - but only because I said so.......LOL..... any way, stay safe all, and continue to make this board the cool place it is

thanks IMT and others for taking the time to care for our kids.this is one of the reasons we didn't want this site having a closed chat room, at least this way everyone gets to see whats going on.

I'm welling up with pride here IMT..... what a caring bunch of people!! Might be worth posting something like this once every couple of weeks just to keep reinforcing it or as and when required!!Will e-mail you later during the day about mortgage info and maybe follow it up with a call. Cheers for the help so far!!

Your too kind Greg, I think your right though, a quick reminder now & then never hurt anyone - always try to protect the kids at all cost.Look forward to hearing from you later on the mortgage side.

Don't even apologise for sounding like a ranter. It's entirely justified and I can't believe what has been happening on this board over these last couple of days
You read about stuff like it on the news and we may well have just been privvy to the real thing. If the split personality person doesn't come back on the board then I think you have assumed correctly. Keep your eyes peeled guys (and girls)

Well done IMT - echoed all our concerns. As long as we continue to monitor this board, its unlikely that any "weirdo" will continue to try and get at "our kids". They'll know that they're on a hiding to nothing here!Cheers, Rie
