hello im going to Borovets on the 19th for my first ever time boarding, someone told me the bulgarians dont accept the lev, only english money?
anyone enlighten me please
thank you
They are talking rubbish, everywhere accepts the lev, its their currency after all!
Take sterling cash (Notes not defaced in anyway or torn), exchange cash at the hotel banks
have fun!
cant wait, got all my gear together now, got boots, trousers, thermal layers, hat , gloves, coat for £100
god bless ebay and tk maxx
cant remember the name of the hotel but its one that has a sister hotel right next door to it
ill no doubt be spending all week falling over though
Just got back, whoever told you that is talking rubbish. We changed sterling for US at home then changed US to Lev over there.
Have a great time wish i was there
You will have difficulty using any of your bank cards to pay for things as they are not up to date with credit cards but you can get cash out of the hole in the wall but this will cost a lot more than taking good quality sterling and exchanging for your levs.
Shop around because the rate varies from around 2.65 leva to the pound up to
2.82 leva out of the resort area.
