i only started leatrning last year.and only had lessons at home.we fell over loads of times, then met a guy who helped us and by teh end of the week were ok, so its just getting that back again.haha. my friend isnt having lessons either but u gave her a good dvd to watch. haha
I cant wait fallin over lots or not its gonna be ace, i am def gonna keep it up over the year though we have a real snow slope at castleford so im thinking at least once a month and some more lessons when i get back. I hope your freind does better than ive been doing i spent more time on my arse each lesson than standing up. It really really hurts when you fall too.
i have never been skiing in my life
wait, i take it back
i went when i was 12 and my leg got caught...it was dry slope..not fun
so i am fearing my life
any tips?
skiing is easy mate just master the snow plough and all is good. Its easier to take it steady on skis, just dont do like my brother and forget to turn otherwise the falls can be quite spectacular and also painful. Dry slope is v scary and nothing like skiing on the real thing, it hurts a lot less
