re: andorra

It is better - but then it is about 4 times bigger. No where near as much character as Bulgaria though and a tad more expensive for food and drink. I went to Andorra last year and it was great with plenty of snow and will def be going back soon. not this year though - Borovets in March for us and Sauze d'oulx in 3 weeks.

re: andorra

We were looking to go to Bansko but couldnt find a suitable deal. I've only been to Borovets but I have been told that the Bansko resort is a short bus journey to the lifts; Borovets is all on your door step. I really want to go and have heard that they are very similar. I dont think there is much in it really.

re: andorra

hi we did arinsal a few years ago, nice enough place although being up at the velvet apts we were nearly out of the country. Only prob we had was the transfer as were told it was a couple of hours from Toulouse, it turned into a 6 hours of wacky racing on a cronky old coach which overtook everything going up the mountain including the snow plow!!!!!!!!!!!! :It was even better on the return journey as all this took place in the dark!!!!!!!!!!!!! Skiing was good for all the family but best ...

Skiing was good for all the family but best to go over to Pal for a bit of atmosphere as it was pretty bland in Arinsal. Food was brilliant in restaurant at bottom of gondola top marks all round would try one of the closer resorts due to horrendous transfer. Enjoy the skiing and night life.

Went to Pas with 30 guys on a stag doo 4 years ago. That joined the 400,000 other guys in the resort. Local's call it Mandora. I should imagine it was at least 4 guys 2 1 girl, and at times got a little fisty in the evening, usaully chaps fighting over the few half attractive gals about. Nice slopes though, if a little icy when we went. Great place to go if you like free shots, unlike myself... Seems like 4 free shots with every half a pint!! I know what you mean about the coach trip as well ...

Half way through stopped at some hell hole for a baggette and beer, with a price list they just errected before we arrived I think. £10 for a beer and sarni, you must be joking Wink LOL...

Enjoy, off to Bansko on the 20th Jan, counting down the days.... Love it.... Tara
