I guess what mr Val wanted was to get some attention. And I think it worked with all of us. My precious mr Val, i am writing to you also from the third world of Greece, just to tell you that all we know here about your country is that most of you are gays and the rest are dirty to death... i guess you noticed that too, that's why you are so obsessed with soaps and toothpastes.. obviously you are clean enough to get bothered from the dirtyness!!! hope you are man enough too, to watch your "dirty" mouth and mind your words when talking about countries with more valuable culture than yours!!! hugs and kisses

Well its got too be said to Maria, that what was written was perhaps easy to missconstrue, especially as although im sure she speeks my language better than i do hers, i did notice that her language construction was a little off. However as im well travelled and spend most of my year working with foreign people, (well to me they are), I can say that it would apear the question was more cultural than the way it seemed. The point i belive trying to be made is that its customary in alot of places, NOT THE UK OBVIOUSLY to bring gifts when travelling. I do not belive that its usual to offer them to staff in hotels but, never-the-less is not unheard of. I would also like to add, a big sarcastic thankyou for your noted observation regarding us from the UK, and like to give you some more cultural observations from around the world. All Australian women are called Sheila, and the men Bruce. In America all people are extreamly fat, and say "whatever" alot. African people are very poor and badly educated, and there are many more sterio-typical staments one could make. But perhaps the best you could go for is "everyones an idividual", and should be judged on their own merits. I've met people the world over. The one thing its taught me is there are f**ing w***ers everywhere, and some really nice people too. But the third world insinuation, was a bit off, i do admit, perhaps the Japanese culture would have been a better example.. Im sure that when i reach Pamporovo this winter i will live up to the "UK sterio-type" as frankly the rest of the year i dont get a chance to drink, fall over and have fun with my freinds, but im sure there are many who wont. See you all there, oh and mine's whatever your getting, im not fussy.
