re: any body went to borovets with inghams this last year?
Was there in Feb and it was superb. The transfers were good, the reps were really helpful and the hotel we stayed in (edelweiss) and perfect for what we wanted. No complaints what so ever, and it was quite cheap!
re: any body went to borovets with inghams this last year?
With the Inghams welcome pack did they state at the bottom of general information page that people were not to go on privately organized trips with their ski instructors
re: any body went to borovets with inghams this last year?
Went with Inghams last February. They were very good. Stayed in Hotel Flora. It was a nice hotel very clean. The room was a bit small for the three of us but we weren't in it much. There was bigger rooms so it was just probably the one we got. I'm going with them again next year

Christine
I imagine it is one of 2 things:
1 they feel they are missing out on commissions from people not going on their trips
2 which is more important - it invalidates their insurance.
At the end of the day if it is 1 then you are free to do whatever you wish when you go on holiday. We have often in the past been on package deals but having had our fingers burnt on many occasions no longer book excursions with the tour operator. Far too expensive especially when paying ...

There have been problems in the past in Borovets with instructors taking their party to other slopes to ski. Be really careful about this as certainly the other year one of the instructors was implying he was doing it as a Borosport employee but the insurance was invalid as he went in his own time.

Yep, done Ela and Kalina.
Kalina, warm but basic, bit of a trek out of town, prob about 15 mins. The food in the restaurant ain't great.
Ela was better, right next to the Gondola and the hire kit from their Rossignol shop is very good quality. Nice bar with friendly staff. Ate in the restaurant once, wasn't too impressed.
Can't really comment on the Inghams reps, I'm one of those who just does his own thing once in resort. I think Ela has a creche or playgroup, whereas Kalina does ...
