I'm fom Scotland and I'm going to Boro' on the 21st and ordered my money yesterday. All the travel Agents and the BofS could order it for me, 2-3 days to arrive.

Dos anyone know if the predicted snow fall came today?

ur well better just taking sterling with you, exchange rates there are far better than in a travel agent, mayb as much as 15-20% better over there, even in sofia airport the exchange rates weren't as good as what we were getting in the hotel!

just a little note about ATM on the streets...always check the machine BEFORE you put your card in!
a copy is easily made, also check the people around it: always the same?? and please protect your code with your free hand! (minicamera)
I don't want to scare anyone but just a little safety can't hurt.

loads of ATMs in Bansko, very near to the square, only one that didn't seem to work was the one at post bank, and two of us tried it.
just be safe re shielding your pin, though i saw nothing suspicious.
and if you have a Nationwide account, you don't get charged a fee.
