atm in Sofia airport?

Does anybody know if I can withdraw Levs from an atm at Sofia airport - cannot get Levs in South Africa, so need to have access to cash for a snack for the transfer.

re: atm in Sofia airport?

I was there this summer just gone and there is an atm. However, it is not in the arrivals lounge but outside the airport. It is across the coach parking area, about a 5 minute walk. If you ask someone they can guide you to it. Alternatively there are atm machines in the resorts.

Thanks Sam

I will try and find it!! I am staying at the new Flora Apartments near the gondola in Borovets - various messages on this forum say that there is an ATM near the gondola for me to withdraw Levs? How many Levs can be withdrawn per day?

Thanks
Peter

Peter, isn't it possible to have some cookies or chocs with you?
In airports are normally some mini-versions, take them before you leave in handluggage..

re: atm in Sofia airport?

There is an ATM in the departures entrance, just along from arrivals. I think you'll find that you can withdraw a lot more than 400Lv per day but you probably would never need to.

re: atm in Sofia airport?

Im a bit confused, can you help? I am right in thinking you cant get lev's in uk, so you have to take sterling. We dont get in to sofia airport till gone 8pm, and staying in borovets, so will there be somewhere open to change our sterling into ski pennies (lev's)
