re: back from Bansko Yesterday

Hey Phil, i am going on 7th Feb and i am staying at the Mountain Residence 4, we have a studio room...Dave is right there are quite a few. Residence 4 is the one closest to the gondola..opposite side of the road to the Kempinski Hotel. I am going for a week, so i can report back on our stay once i return. I have also been trying to find reviews but to no avail, i think its because they are very new.

Will be good to hear Dave's thoughts though

Whoops sorry Phil, you already said you are staying in MR1..missed that part.

Hi Welshy,

The food you described sounds fantastic.....I'm for some of that!! As for my daughter she is a fussy eater, although she does like chicken and beef - tho trying to get her to try it abroad is a different story!

Is that lunchtime yet???? I'm starving!

I am not sure if St Johns Park and Hill are near each other or the same part of development. If I recall I saw St Johns Hill being built and it is at the upper end of Bansko - sort of up the hill at the highest part. I have seen apartments mentioned on various letting sites and they sound nice - and will have a bus to shuttle you to the gondola and perhaps into the old town. No personal experience of staying there though.

sorry about the delayed reply. 2lv to the £ was in resort. It was 2.14 when we arrived and it crept down to 2.02 dropping a bit each day, when we left it was 2.03 so hopefully on the rise again!
