Hi, it is the mrs here now so here is the report for you from Borovets for last week. to start with we went with Inghams and they were crap, always gone with Balken befor, flight was very good, hotel Iglika Palace was brilliant, good food lovely warm rooms and friendly staff. On first day picked up our ski passes as told to by rep on coach, but our friends were given theres on the coach transfer the night before so they did not have to que up to get theirs like us, when we got them we all then went to the ski depot behind Gondola as told to by rep, to be told after queing for half an hour that they have run out of skis and wait 15 more mins to then be given all odd equiptment, so we then tried to find inghams rep, but as you may well guess no where to be found, then he appeared and took us to another depot infront of the gondola, where we then had to que for another hour but they were helpful in there, but then 3 of our party were then taken to another depot run by balken as this 2nd depot had run out of skis, so we finally got to the slopes after midday so we lost a mornings skiing on first day, the rep was useless and could not give a dam, but i will say the blokes in the ski depot were really good in the end. The snow conditions to start with were ok, then on the 14th we had about 16 hours of non stop snow(lovely), but had a power cut and guess what was told no more skiing as no lifts working, so had lots of fun with snowball fights and snowmen. On the thursday the snow was good still excellent conitions, on Friday it was very foggy and saw a couple of accidents on the crossover paths because of poor visibility, and same for saturday poor visibility, but cannot moan about the weather because that is controlled by him upstairs. Had an excellent chinese next to the samokov do try, kareoke bar excellent as always, few new shops have been built where the ice rink use to be and these are all very much the same clothes wise with one supermarket aswell. Prices have not changed much since last year, we had our favorite ski instuctor KIKO again for the 3rd year running. I would reccomend to go on gondola about 11.30am and avoid the big ques every morning. Can't think of anything else hope this helps.

i had no complaints what so ever about the holiday-even though we did have power cuts for 7 hrs-you just got to get on with it-everyone is in the same boat
