half of the stuff they're saying about borovets on this site is rubbish!!!!!


conditions up the top were brilliant especially on the blue red and black runs. i tried walking off piste and the snow was well over my boots in places.

i couldn't go up there on friday due to wind so they shut the gondola.

they had the cannons on down te bottom yesterday which helped the nursery slopes.

and the snow that was supposedly light was heavy as i had to stop skiing.

this was slightly higher alttitude at the top of the baraki chair lift.

when i went out there i was bricking it from what i read on this site but i got out there and the snow was good on all runs apart from the mussala pathway was closed and the other green run was in awful condition

the rila and eglika runs was great condition apart from icy patches in places.

the top sections of all the yastarbets red runs were amazing snow cover but the bottom sections were all closed.

the gondola cues were about 1.5 hours in the morning but by luch no one was cueing.

coming back down we had to wait about quarter of an hour at 3 o clock.

the food in the samakov was absolutely awful but i suppose this was the case in all resorts hotels food.

the only lift that was shut all week was the yastrabets chair lift and the sitnyakovo express was shut towards the end of the week.

so all this rubbish about 1 or 2 lifts open is rubbsih
