bad news for Bansko

I think the town would be happier with happy tourists rather than a weekend of racing. if they shut half the pistes every february they will have no tourists and hence no money, Thay had the mens last year and closed the pistes. the Biathlon was there as well, but that is good as it does not really effect anything.I found out today that the gondola is free for the weekend so that will be fun !!! Best get up there early.

I was actually questioning whether its actually as much as 10% ???
TV crews will use their vehicles, especially around the Le Dialle area at the bottom of Val, they have to, gantry erection, camera locating etc...
Team vehicles will litter the area...
Take it from me, with all the extra people in town it is manic. I should imagine that it is the best organised champs, they have great experience, especially after the Olympics, which i also was able to enjoy...
