Just a point, if you were 'kept on a coach' for 2 hours whilst trying to leave, how did you catch your flight home??? Maybe the 'gangsters' held the plane up as well......re: balkan gangsters run Bansko

Some really strange points you make.
Took wrong skis back to the hire depot? Why did you not locate your instructor, or go to the head of the ski school to sort it out? Surely you take your skis off, then hand them in?
£200 for a pair of kids skis? I only paid £120 for a new set of the very latest 2004 carvers in Pamporovo.
Where was you rep on the coach?

went to bansko in jan one of our group went to get his boots in the morning and they wer'nt in the locker room ( but another pair was) went to boot and ski hire shop explained situation and took number on boots (they are all scanned in and out so when you returned the wrong pair this should have come up) was lent a pair of boots free of charge for the day and it was sorted out the following day when his boots were returnedeveryone was great and he did not loose a day skiing

As far as I can make out, she done what she could with the responsibility that she had for the well being off the kids. She made the best situation of what seemed a very bad situation. I am sure none of you would like to but in a simualr position with simular responsibilities. All I can say is well done Donner I would have done the same, and this board is for an exchange of views and experinces whilts skiing in Bulgaria.

Here, Here, this is a discussion board but it appears that if you say anything slightly against the norm you have the mafia on your case
People should take the good comments as well as the bad so that hopefully the bad can be rectified and we can all enjoy skiing in Bulgaria. (and Bansko when it catches up with the 21st century

Ok some people do go over the top when we get someone on here having a pop at Bulgaria but it is only because we like Bulgaria so much. Donners comments do not add up and anyone who is silly enough to sit on a bus for what is claimed to be 2 hours well come on it sounds made up this would not happen. The tour company would not allow it for starters and how did they make the plane? I do not mind someone complaining about Bulgaria at all as I accept that it will not be for everyone but what ...

I do not mind someone complaining about Bulgaria at all as I accept that it will not be for everyone but what annoys me is when we get people just coming out with a rant and rage and not backing it up with constructive arguments. What a lot of people seem to forget when they go to Bulgaria is that the country is still trying to emerge from the dark shadow that was comminisn and things are different to what you get in western europe it is there way of life. But we english when we go abroad do not seem to want to embrace a different culture and would be much happier if they all just changed there way of life to suit us!

no matter what people say about their experiences you are always on the defensive.This is not a critisism and i do not mean to be picky but at the end of the day as people say it is only a site for people to air their views
