re: bansko disaster week!

you can get some good deals, but i bet the booze was a lot more expensive wayne. depends on what you want but bansko will have to do something about the lift and the cost of a week in some of the hotels is getting in line with other european resorts on the other hand still has a lot to offer, as above if you want to miss the crowds either 8 to 8.30 or after 10.30 when ski school starts. I prefer earlier then stop for a coffee at about 9.30 near the gondla and watch the harased getting off
