Facts - snow cannons are deffo in use both day and night.
I didn't go on a piste today that had a snow cannon actually in use there and then (health and safety stuff maybe?) but I did see cannons in use on closed pistes during the day on a number of the closed pistes (esp the Tromba run which has the Womens Europa Cup event on Saturday).
A number of lifts / pistes are not yet open - I guess due to getting pistes in a good condition/good base down.

As at 10.45 English time it's raining in town (no snow) so a v. good chance it's sniowing on the tops.
