Bansko is a genuine 'town' and as such has proper streets, shops, bars etc (even a quite famous church is you feel inquistive about the local history!).
The skiing was more challenging and the facilities a little 'more modern'...but you know what?...I still prefer the 'togetherness' of Pamporovo ....even if means using Plovdiv airport!

more snow in bansko at the moment than anywhere.
