Yes, this will be my 4th winter in Bansko.

our 3rd year staying at the strazhite, i love the place.
only problem this year we are flying into plovdiv so longer transfer but at least it will be daylight so we can see some scenery

Webcams will be turned on roughly about the 15 dec when officially the season begins. i was there yesterday and they are already preparing the resort including testing the gondola lifts. A thin layer of snow covers the piste at the moment the skies are blue with good sunshine but it is very cold probally about 0-/1+

Beano - when are you going ? This is our 5th time in Bansko - 3rd at Strazhite - we are going 28th Jan - manchester to sofia.

we are going on the 21st, 50 strong party 1or 2 are staying in the Kempinsky this year for a change, that is one nice hotel with drink prices to match.
