Hello Everyone,
I'm a newbie so be gently with me
I'm returning to Bansko this coming season after spending 5 days out there in January with the friends. This time I'm taking the wife and 2 small ones (aged 6 by then and then and 4.5).
Liked Bansko a lot when I was there - thought the runs were good for me (I'm still a relative beginner) - so really looking forward to going back. I've chosen Bansko again due to it being cheap (flights and passes etc)... and the fact that a good friend of mine has a place out there that I can use for free!
I have a few questions that I hope your collective selves can help with:
Looing at banskoski.com there is great info about the lessons and nursery - but no contact details for queries or advance bookings - do you know if this is possible? Or can I book this with an agent?
Places to take kids: Any recommendations of places to take the kids to eat? Also - other non-skiing activities (like bowling etc)...
re: bansko with 2 little ones.. little advice pls..
loads to do in bansko .bowling at hotel strazhite.ice skating next door ,most big hotels have spas ,swimming pools etc.lots of mehxanas for traditional food.or pizza places etc
re: bansko with 2 little ones.. little advice pls..
There is a bowling alley at the edge of the town, near the supermarket. Also there is Ice skating on Pirin street I believe. Most restaurants seem child friendly but what annoys me is the smoking in the restaurants. The Irish Bar seems quite familt friendly so may be worth a go, plus food is more familiar if they are a bit fussy.

THis is more difficult that I thought
Looks like most agents will only book ski extras is you book the entire trip through them.... urgh.
It's also looking like the kindergarten is only bookable on arrival.
Will post further findings in case it's uselful to anyone else.
