going to bansko at xmas anyone been before at this time is sking good p.s whats hotel perin like

Was in Hotel Pirin last January.Nice bar area, pool, sauna and steam room. Good massage for £5.
Food is OK - buffet style both at breakfast and dinner. Good enough to fuel the system/soak up the beer and rum.
Good boot/ski room. Reliable minibus transfer to gondola - nice little bar at the bottom of the gondola in case the bus isn't there anyway!
Going back again 15 Jan.

no, I haven't...but I am looking some information here on the Internet. My name is Marija, I am 22. I adore skiing...and this is my first time to go to BULGARIA - BANSKO. ...so , like you. I am interested,too... in anybody's experience.all the best,

I' ve been in Bansko last February and I believe it's the perfect place forexperienced sciers. We stayed at Stratzite, a 3 star A class hotel, very close
to the lift. The town is small but there are many "mehanas" (restaurants) and
lot of cosy pub's.
Been there for two years in the row, hopefully return next February.

Hi Muttley,The hotel perun (not to be confused with the hotel pirin) is a brand new 4 *hotel facing the mountains about 5 minutes walk to the gondula station (but I expect the hotel will run a shuttle service) all reports at the moment is that it is excellent
The hotel pirin is in the centre of town
Not sure which one you're staying at, have a great holiday

I am going to visit BANSKO in february (2 - 9february,2005).
I can't wait to see it.
There are 2 oportunites for me : to take hotel called TODORKA and some other Familly hotel in town. What is better ? PLEASE LET ME KNOW. In the agency here, they told me that HOTEL TODORKA is on the ski center exatly, and the FAMILLY HOTEL is down in BASKO town. Is there sny transport to ski center during the day ? Or GONDOLA ? Is I have 6 days lasting ski pass - can I ...

buses for transportation to the ski center (after a trip of more than 30' on a hard and curly icy road).
Since the new cable car has started in December 2003 ,every one's choosing the faster "gondola'.
The ski pass is validate for all the lifts (including the main cable car) and it's strictly personal cause they puting your photo on it with a digital camera. I've found it though a bit ...

THANKS for your information ! They are very helpfull to me. I will be in some hotel named TODORKA, in ski center, up, not in BANSKO town....so I wonder if there will be any transport in the evenings if I want to come down in BANSKO town... ?If anybody knows,.,,, ?

about the connection with Bansko haven't seen any public transportation buses
the previous years. Is it really so far from town center?
