is it the same price for a beer out the supermarket as out a reasonably priced bar. Some threads have suggested this.

You should be able to pick up bottles of beer 500ml in a supermarket for about 0.60 lev (bulgarian beers which are very good). Or a 2 litre plastic bottle of the same beers for 1.20 lev

thanks for that. I was told in an earlier post it was 2-2.5 out the supermarket. I love a Booze while refreshing after the slopes!

You wont get beer in Pamps for 0.6 you would have to go to a supermarket in Chepelare or Smoylan
