I remember a group of us paying 11.50 Sterling for a Pint of Carlsberg up in Iceland........We were drinking like it was going out of fashion.People on here moan about paying 2.5 Lev at the Happy End in Bansko....Jesus Wept!!!

lisa shows how often you pay for Pauls beer, Alpina price about right but else where nearer 4 lev.Anyway have a good time when you go this weekend conditions looking good for you both

Without highjacking this thread...what is the name of some of the local beers. When I went to Bulgaria a coupld of years ago, I ordered a few of the more well know beers from the UK...turns out it is quite a bite more than the local tipple.

Hi Phil,am in Boro at the moment.
Most places are 4 Leva, Alpina is 2.5
