best spa in borovets area

We are in Borovets right now an wondered what is the best spa in the area. Don't mind a short taxi ride to get the right place.

Hotel Yastrebets is the place to go. You probably need to take a taxi but its not far. Let me know what you think

Cheers Franc,

Will try your suggestion in the next couple of days, so long as we can convince our eldest that ski school is better than mum and dad ski school!.

Our 2 yr old loves the Rila kindergarten, but our 7 yr old has never liked being left behind.

The wife used the Festa hotel in Boro, near the chernovo black run last year while the kids went in the pool for free. She had a thai massage i think and the kids got use the pool free. Decent place for spa i think.

We went to this one last October belchin garden. It says on the website how far it is from Borovets.

Absolutely correct. Belchin Garden is just up the road from where I live. It is a lovely new hotel and has mineral pool, lovely Roman Bath, massage, sauna, steam room etc. Take a look at their website. Its about 25 kms from Borovets though.

I looked at the site but it only gives prices in levs and does not translate the info, although everything else is converted to english. Franc where is it? Is it near when you come from Sofia or the other way from Kostenets?

The Belchin Garden is in Belchin Bani. It is located about 20 kms from Samokov. As you come out of Samokov, take the road out to Dupnista, Continue until you reach the right turn for Sofia, the old road to Sofia, and turn right there. Continue for about 2 kms and Belchin Garden is on right. Maybe e mail them and ask for more details and I am sure they will tell you all you want to know. Any problems and I can find out what you wish to know by calling in there.
