Ewen - Thanks for the info but I booked lessons through Inghams when we booked the holiday. Thought that would be the best way seeing it was our 1st time.

Only first time to bulgaria for me. have been boarding for years
The other half is a ski virgin tho. she has got ski school every day which is fine with me as i can go off and explore with out worrying about her

Hi

Stayed in the Bor last year, not a bad hotel - about a10min walk up to the Rila Hotel and slopes. The food in the hotel was not great but it was cheap enough to eat out anyhow. Rooms were nice, not sure if it had been refurbished when we went. We only paid £360 half board with all ski gear and lift passes so couldnt beat it for quality!

I might be dont know if to book cuz of the snow. Went pamps last year snow wasnt great but still had a great time! So might just book it anyway. Any news on the snow at borovets?

Hi folks,
the thread was about Bor / Edelweis, wasn´t it?
They used to be simple and were situated a little far from the gondola (15 minutes walk) but you can not pay silver and expect gold. There is a ski bus from the hotels to the lifts. Enjoy your holidays.
