re: borovets off piste!!!

I don't board so im probably not the best to answer but if you are any good and the snow is ok, under the Gondola might be the place to go. I seem to recall on the Rila hotel side there is an area you could try. There are off piste areas between the Markijudk runs (sorry about the spelling) but i don't know if they are any good on a board and you will need plenty of snow as the area is covered with small bush type trees.

re: borovets off piste!!!

Thanks alot yes i have seen videos of a small path under the gondola that seems to be my best bet as i dont think the snow cover is enough to cover those little bushes.

but maybe after the snow dump im hopeing for haha.

re: borovets off piste!!!

If you have a good fall of snow up top you can do a bit.
also on the way down the green from the gondola you can off track and cut through the forest and there are some great logging routes you can pick up on if there is a good fall...

re: borovets off piste!!!

The tree's inbetween Marky runs are great with fresh snow. Over past Marky 3 into the bowl is great but conditons have to be good. Lets hope the snow conditions keep on improving and then you should find some great stuff over there!!!
