Its doesn't matter anyway - the wind is forecast to be high as well, so they'll close the gondola and all we'll be able to do is look at all the powder being blown off the mountain and cry quietly to ourselves.

I was 'Borosported' yesterday - everyone was at the top of the mountain and they closed the button lifts on the grounds that the wind was too strong for the gondola. But there was no-one on the gondola - we were all at the top, using the button lifts which are pretty much immune from wind. So why close the fecking lifts? Its almost as if they are looking for an excuse to stop working. Then of course, they kept the gondola running so everyone could queue for 2 hours and download. What is wrong with these people?

Borovets gets worse each time i visit. The people get ruder, the place gets dirtier and the prices get higher!
I found a 3year old lift pass in my pocket which was exactly half the price of what they are today.
I think they even have the snow forcast rigged too!
It's no coincidence that the Borovets web cam is stuck on Feb 22nd. When I was there last week there was practically no snow on the lower parts so they simply keep an old web cam image up so that people can't see what conditions are really like.
Everyone was up the top where conditions were pretty good, but queues for the lifts were long.
They keep building more accomodation in Borovets but the ski areas and facilities don't get bigger or better!
Borovets could be a beautifull place, but those in charge there need a 'wake up call'....
