Just back from second time in Pamps and have already booked again for next year. Trouble is, once you fall in love with a place it's difficult to change - you worry that somewhere different won't be as good and you'll spend all week making negative comparisons
The skiing is much better in bansko than pamporovo. Haven't been to Borovettes for 16 years but I would say it's better in Bansko from what I remember. However ,Bansko is becoming too crowded and I would not go again in school holidays. Out of that time I'd recommend it over the others.

If you are going for the skiing, I would recommend both places.
Been to Borovets 2 times and already booked for next year. Keep thinking I will try Bansko but when we get home we have had such a fab time we just want to go back. The other negative is the transfer times 3hrs - not good when you have small children.
