ian W, If you read some of my other posts you'll see that I support Borovets. Some posts go way OTT in either damning or praising the place. To me Borovets is somewhere between the extreme opinions posted by some posters. The problem is that perhaps some well meaning people will oversell the place to counteract the overly negative and wrong accounts. This in itself can cause a problem for posters who choose skiing destinations based only on reviews and not personal research. Personally ...

This in itself can cause a problem for posters who choose skiing destinations based only on reviews and not personal research. Personally I WOULD go to Borovets again because it's relatively inexpensive and the Yastrebetz red runs are as good a reds I've seen and done elsewhere. Ditto the blue Markudijik run.
