Hi, we are going to Borovets 30th Dec -2 adults, 2 boys 9 & 11. Staying at the Malina Village. Does anyone know what these little log cabins are like? Are they warm enough?

dont know never been to borovets,, just use it as an excuse to get cosy with your hubby

Was there last xmas. As with all BG accomm, it is probably too warm.

Hi me and my family fly out on the 23 staying at the melina vill as well? I will let you know when we get back what they are like its our first time as well just bring on the snow .....Sarah

Hi Alison, have stayed there twice (feb 04 & 05) both times had a lovely time. The bedrooms are tiny but hey...what the hell.. your'e on holiday!! A nice respite from the busy resort and either a free minibus to Borovets or 3 quid in a taxi. The food in the restaurant at the adjacent Yagoda village is lovely too and typically..bloody cheap

Raph and Freeskier - Thanks so much for the positive replies, I feel reassured now. Anything else I should know? This site is great, I have learnt so much reading all the comments. Can't think about xmas shopping, only buying last minute ski stuff! SO excited!
