Hi Russell,

We have no idea about Bansko as we live in Borovets but Nightmuffy / Steve C should be able to help re: location, rental return etc etc.

re: buying in bansko

Great price and the building is self managed so maintenance fees are good value.
I would say it's a bit more than 900m away and if you were planning on walking to the gondola its going to be 30 minutes in ski boots but that is an estimate.
The complex is built just to the side of the ring road that runs round the west side of town.

Cost of a small family saloon car, but doesn't lose 30% when you drive it out of the dealership... Prices have never been better.. Its a foothold in BG, the ownership of property for EU citizens has been simplified, and you now can own property without the need for a company. Mirror what BTI said on position, overheads are not going to kill you... best thing is to come and have a look Wink

It is nearer the bottom of town and on the edge. They do have use of a shuttle bus from nearby hotel. If you go onto Talk Bansko forum Grahame on their owns at Four leaf and has a lot to do with the managing and maintenance of the building ie liasing and communication with management. A greta guy to chat about whats going on there and inside information.

Have a look at bower properties they did have some studios in Bojourland for about same price. Great complex and have a great management down there.
May have all gone now though. Most of these have furniture included also.
