Hi, can any one tell me about the chalets yogoda in borovets.any info would be great go on the 29th jan, with hubby and two girls 8 & 9.

Have just returned from Yogoda - beware of the radiators they are absolutely scalding, my grandson of 4 fell against one and it took the skin off his side. spent every day travelling to the doctors to have it re-dressed. Apart from this Bovorets was great and we had a smashing time. If you haven't got all your ski gear don't worry they sell everything in the resort and mostly cheaper than at home. Don't bother taking any going out clothes we took loads and never even unpacked them. Take ...

Thanks for the info yve, much appreciated! Was only thinking of taking jeans and jumpers for nightime. Are the chalets clean, and is the transfer bus reliable, how long does it take to get to slopes roughly? Thanks againre: chalets yogoda
We stayed Yagoda last year. For the price, they are good, clean, basic very warm. There is a ski bus in morning and night. Reliable but we got a taxi , costs about 10 Lev, £3, takes two/three mins, you can walk it, but would not advise that. Go to the small bar in Malina (opposite) small but friendly for a late night drink. Make sure you leave all valuables in the safe in the reception,. at ALL times. You will have a great time, we did , and are looking at next year at the moment.re: chalets yogoda
Can any one tell me how big the chalets are,bit worried with there being four of us.glad to hear they are warm , don't really like the cold.

sorry about your grandson, treat burns like this a lot he'll be fine and sould'nt leave a scar. hope he's ok.thanks for the info, helped a lot was'nt sure what to take for going out at night

Chalets are a fairly large room with a couple of beds, Then off to the side is a small curtained room with bunks. Then another for kitchen, (well thats what they said it was) and the shower toilet. Don't worry, you sleep there , thats all, and get ready to go out. So they are ideal.re: chalets yogoda
god, don't they have a bath?by the sounds of it i'll need one after a days sking.

Have been to Yagoda for the past three years! and going again in Feb. They are cosy, warm and secure! I have never heard of a problem with security there! although there is no bath, the shower is nicw and hot and very powerful!!!Have a nice time
