re: cigs

Sorry Frank mate but your wrong !!!

BG is now in the EU and you can bring 3200 for your own consuption same as France,Italy and any where else in the EU...

I don't smoke but my mate brought 3200 malbro light back and it cost him £12 for a sleeve of 200,you must pack a lighter in the bag with the cigs, heaven knows why...He smoked malbro lights out there for the week he said they were real and not copies...

re: cigs

Tiger Tim, you are so wrong. Read Customs and Excise guidelines. 200 cigs when you go into Bulgaria, and 200 when you come out. F.V.

re: cigs

Thats the same in spain, and if you want to take beer and wine from france?? Think it all comes down to personal consumsion...

I had this info from Aimee and Ariee who run the Alpina bar in Borovets, they said as long as you prove your smoking them (thats why the lighter in the case" then it's 3200...

Oh and they are a English couple as well,so i guess no reason to lie about it...

re: cigs

Tim--Fv is totally correct. You can bring back as much alcohol as you like, but good old HMRC (customs) have decided that Bg along with some other accession countries such as Hungary are restricted to 200 only. this stays in place I believe until 2009......ironically you can bring back unrestricted (personal use) other tobacco products such as cigars and tobacco---just not cigs.

re: cigs

Fiona, I bought 20 Superkings Back from Bulgaria as a test (I do not smoke), they were sent to Imperial for tests. Result being, they were 10 times more dangerous that genuine ones, also the little white box with Tar, Nicotine etc, was wrong font and wrong totals. The only genuine fags are the Bulgarian ones with their fixed price label under the wrapper. To tell the fake tobacco from real, Golden Virginia has a much Darker Green Packet, Old Holborn has a Darker Blue, if you see somebody ...
