contact lenses

will i be ok to take my contact lenses dont want them to freeze going pamporovo 26th jan anyone else going

I have no problems with mine, the only thing I find is that if I wear sunglasses instead of googles when I am skiing fast the wind irritates them and makes my eyes water.

thanxs for that i wont be sking fast never done it before so no need to worry about eyes watering lol

the solution is saline so won't freeze (at least, not at temperatures you will encounter and survive)

Whilst we're asking questions about contact lenses, does anyone swim in theirs? I have only ever been in a pool in the sunshine & worn prescription sunglasses since I started wearing them. But we have a pool in our hotel this year which will be lovely after a hard day boarding. Can't see a thing without them.

I swim in mine in fact I even go to water parks in them, if they are the 24/7 ones that you take out once a week clean them after you have been swimming I learnt the hard way last summer and got a bad eye infection, if you take them out everynight dont worry about it.

i skiid in mine this jan and will be again on 27th Jan 08... no probs at all, even with sunglasses on, you'll be fine

I have skied with my lenses for past 6 years, no problem at all, even 2 years ago when weather was freezing, it was -16 outside the rila, even at speed i have not suffered any major problems,

Thanks Sam, I shouldn't have a problem then they are monthly soft ones so get cleaned overnight. Just worried they might come out in the water. Sounds silly I know

I skied in mine and also swam with them. I didn't have any problems. Mine are the one day ones.
