Hi, Ive seen lots of people saying that their whole skiholiday cost them totally around 500 pounds, with hotel, ski package and flights.... how come this is possible? more and more calculations i make i get as a result much more bigger costs, like 800 and 1000 pounds....ANYONE HELP, how to get myself CHEAP snowboard holiday. with love: POOR student
Mine cost over £700 (stirling) each! Avoid school holidays (i have no choice), Two years ago booked very late (prepared to travel within 3 days but not in holiday time) and got good deal. However, first deal not available after only one phone call to friends to confirm, so if you do get good price book immediately! Enjoy
(ps Pamporovo at Snezhanka - really enjoyed hotel - small but very friendly)
hi thankx alot! where can i get these "deals", its so confusing...this getting hotel, flights etc ..separately!!!...is there sum place where i can get all these as a package? bighug!!
Im a poor student type! im goin with 7 friends, leavin in about 3 hrs for the aiport! goin 2 pamporovo for a week. Our holiday has cost us just over £400 because we'r flyin no frills and stayin at the 2* orpheus hotel, coz we just need a place 2 sleep bascially, goin skiing is the main reason, not luxury! We booked back in august tho
i booked a month ago, got a bargain online, at bargain holidays.com, staying at the Perelik leave in two days! There are some good deals for the 7th Jan week, when the snow will probably better that it is now! Though get in contact with the tour operator it is with to book lift passes, equipment hire etc! good luck
thanks guys, ill be looking for orpheus as well..hope they have single rooms available as no one of my friends are into snowboarding ...hope i meet sum ppl in the skischol tho
The best deals Anna for future are to be had if you book way in advance. I booked last Jan for this Jan and it has cost me £780 for the 2 of us at Murgavets in Pamps. You can already book fir the 2006/07 season.
Try going in an apartment or chalet, it works out at around 80 pounds for accomodation each, then you have to add on flights and ski hire, lift pass etc. Try www.skibg.net they've still got some availability in Bansko and Borovets and all the costs are shown
There seem to be cheap deals around if you search but the best way ive found is to forget these deals and ivest in your own skis ,boots and poles, then all you need do is book your hotel inc transfers, meals and most importantly lift pass which can all be done on this site.
I live close to heathrow so i book with a sceduled airline look on the internet some good deals at BA.com, saves the expense and time of travel to another airport miles away.

this way i was able to get 4* accomadation, sceduled flights from lhr to sof with reasonable departure times and collected at sofia airport by car from a nice man working for bulgaria ski.
all for about £550, and thats for 10 days skiing.

James is right, there are still some deals to be had for flights departing on 7th Jan. It is obviously not a very popular time for people to go skiing/boarding (both tourists and locals) which is great if you ask me because it will mean very few people on the slopes during that week - mmmmmm, the slopes all to myself!!
