dbut's left boot.

dbut is scanning ebay for a left ski boot, apparently the rivet on the leather strap has broken. If anyone has one up in the loft or garage any colour he is willing to go to £5 at least.

Thought I would be able to see out my skiing days in those old boots but looks as if not. Worst thing is they gave out in the bloody snow dome not during serious skiing.

I think that Arthur Neagus left a pair in his will, should be in some museum somewhere.

Failing that I do know a good guy who is into vintage welding. As a last resort we will have to nail his foot to the ski!!!!!!

My boots were old Solomon rear entry boots with 3 of the old wire type clips to tighten them. On the one around the base of the ankle the plastic of the boot where the clip is secured has cracked allowing the securing rivet to pull through. So it looks like Father Christmas will have to bring me a new pair of boots this year.

Seen some boots on ebay. So think I will be in new boots next year.

I have a pair of Atomic M80 Boots size 27.0 - 27.5. They're a couple of seasons old but just taking up space.
