my husband brought some spider skipants for £28 and i brought a north face wind jacket for £20, i'm sure their not genuine buut they are still good quality, friends today can't tell the difference.

They sell all the makes you mention , but I would suggest that if you require genuine goods to make sure you buy from the "quality" shops , you will know what this means when you get there.

There is a fantastic Bulgarian Ski wear called DIEL check it out , I bought jacket etc and it is fantastic. ( nice to have something not a lot of people will have. ( DIEL sponsor Bulgarian ski team)

Would agree with Michelle & Paul & Sue
It certainly wont be genuine merchandise and your best to try and find a legit sports shop (if theres any?)

oh for heavens sake, see my earlier post. The branded shops are all genuine, Bulgarias biggest export is clothing, killy is made there spider is part of killy diel is part of the same group. If someone is selling a £100 north face for £20 its not going to be real is it, but whats 'real' dont be fooled into thinking everything fake Wink

fraser and co-- you are WRONG.
40% of stock even in the branded shops in BG is not genuine.this is problem for the place.it is easy money easier than...
BG biggest export is food and clothing but sorry not for these brands.Killy is never made in there.Killy is a french company.Spyder is USA and Diel is 100 percent bulgarian owned and it is nothing to do with those other brands(in fact this is the only brand which offers guarranteed quality as good as the big names).
So Dont confuse ...

So Dont confuse people please.
I have never found genuine made brands in BG resorts apart of the tresspass sometimes Oneill, and the very cheap stuff which you can buy in UK anyway. One only skiing brand which managed to crack down on fakes is the Rossignol which actually few years ago had served court injunction on any sellers in the country and with the strong backing of the french owners actually managed to stop the import from China of fakes with their names and cleared the stall sellers and shops fining them huge amounts of penalties.
My advise is buy untill there are still available because pretty soon the sale of them will be prohibited the same way as in UK and only can be found on boot-sales etc until the police arrive. The way the things are going you wont be able to buy cheap CD(again fakes) DVDs and cigarettes as well for very long as well.
