re: drinkin in pamps

Things have swung a little over the past couple of years and The White Hart has now become a firm favourite of many. Live music and good food is the main reason for this.

The Apres Ski bar has also gained a good following with live music, but BJ's (now DJ's) really isn't worth a visit until after midnight.

Daks has also lost many followers since it's referb but is still worth a visit.

The white heart has always been good clean family fun when I have been in there. There are two pool tables in there too. You do have to pay 1/2 lev to use the toilets in there though. Apres ski is a very good bar and they have Lauras band on in there. DJ's is good for watching sports. We tried the spider bar last year, which seemed to be very popular with locals.

Ian, try the hotel Perelik with the kids. You don't have to be a guest. I've been there twice now and the complex has loads of different bars with a bowling alley, 5 pool tables, italian food and internet cafe. Thumbs up for the White Hart right opposite the Murgavets and Perelik hotels. Wink

re: drinkin in pamps

Enjoyed the Irish Bar (downstairs in the Hotel Pamporovo) -
But it was a bit pricey though.
And it is a bit off the beaten track if you aren't staying there.
And it was a bit quiet.
And there wasn't too much variation on the Irish music front.

But great huh!

Arron, myself and the kids did a mini pub crawl, starting at the White Hart then across the road to the Mourgavets through to the Perelik visiting different bars on the way you can then go through the underground tunnel to the Orlovetz or head to Dak's.
