As it rained loads yesterday, I took the skis for an outing at the local DSS. It was a great nite and awesome on my new skis that just gobbelled up the wet surface. Anyway it all went pete tong when I messed up a jump off a 6 ft kicker. A dislocated little finger and a 3in tear in the next finger put a holt to procedings. We would organise bump comps where you were judged on style, speed and air. One year i actually won it (not much competion !!) collected my prize and celebrated with a few beers (big mistake)... The end of the day saw everybody going down sort of free style, 180`s, star jumps, daffys, the lot, my turn came and i decided on a back scratcher mid way down, just didn`t get enough air, caught my tips in the mat and hit the next bump flat out, succeeded in breaking my arm and displacing two vertabrae in my lower back...
The morale of this story, `don`t be a di*khead show off'
