empty slopes at xmas!!!

the irish will be missed at xmas, despite previous postings stating that one operator was still operating from ireland at xmas,they have now also cancelled their flight.
so no operators are now flying from belfast r dublin.at xmas

this is the first time in years that i havnt spent xmas in bulgaria

Know how you feel - Easy jet has also cancelled flights from Athens/Luton (I live in Greece) before I could just go for the weekend to see my parents - now it's a big hassle and cost!
Are there any flights for Thessaloniki in Greece from Ireland and then make the short journey from there to Bansko instead of from Sofia?

There are no direct flights from Thessaloniki to Ireland.You need to have at least one stop over and this is very costly.

Luckily we have many Greeks to replace you, so our slopes will still be full.

A 6am direct flight to plovdiv i think is still available from dublin on the 26th Dec, the 8pm bulgaria air was cancelled im now booked on the 8.40am direct flight from belfast to sophia instead
