erm, silly question???

erm, silly question???

Hi all, with my work I tend to travel alot, mostly in the uk, but having said that,
I do spend quite a considerable amount ot time down south ie,
past watford gap,
and I know it may be a northern thing, but Iam unable to purchase a quite sort after delicacy of wait for it-----------------------------------------------------------chips n gravy, yeh I know as i said its a northern thing,
you might be wondering what the hell I'm talking about but i'll get to it? Well as you, some of you ...

Or chips and curry sauce....or the ultimate post beer snack...half chips, half fried rice and curry sauce...tasty!

Come to Happy Duck wether it is on the menu at the moment or not I can't tell you but if not I will try and get in the kitchen myself and make it for you personally.

Chips and Gravy are available at both Mamacita's and Hot Spot restaurants.

Erm, what is/are Gravy?
fish, meat or totally something else?

Stoverij = pieces of meat in a brown sauce with onions..

yeah. except maybe only tiny bits of meat. It is made with the meat juices from cooking a piece of meat and then heated with a bit of flour to thicken it.

Yeah chips and gravy are good.....best when left a few mins to let the chips go really soggy, I didnt realise this was a northern thing, surely the chippys in the south do gravy? Like when you go to scotland they do brown sauce, thats yummy too, weird, like thick vinegar, but yummy!! Im from Darlington, where you from in the north Noodles? Oh noodles are good with gravy too...lol!

Noodles Razz look a pac man eating chips n gravy with red sauce and he is happy
