exchange rates in borovets!! or Samokov.

Hi Guys, i usually get the bus down to Samokov and use the supermarket and use the bank to exchange all my sterling. What are the rates at the moment in resort and samokov.Last year i think i got 2.25 lev.

Thats got to be wrong, 2.35 online...

I thnink thats for the euro, when we were out there at christmas in bank under samokov hotel got 2.27 in booth on resort got 2.22 and in samokov town got 2.34

Today 2.32 in Samokov, approx 2.25 in resort

Hi.
Looks like in resort is the way to get cash then. Do you think I should just bring over Pounds cash and change there?

I went to the post office and to M&S today and the best on offer in Edinburgh i could find was 2.21 for a quid.

In resort do you pay a commission on top?
Also do you know if they take Bank of Scotland notes for exchange? (if not I can hunt out some English notes in a branch)

£20 English notes are best to exchange with no marks etc
No commission.
I have always exchanged in resort due to the difference.

i remember 3 lev to the pound lol, 7 weeks togo id settle for 2.4...

Coming out on Saturday to Boro and cant wait! 'No1 Currency' currently have a rate of 2.231. I guess that's pretty competitive compared to the resort figures above or am I missing something?
