re: exchange rates

In Borovets the average exchange rate was 2.70 levs to £1.
Crown Exchange was offerring 2.74 if you tell them you had one of their cards but lost it.

Take sterling, none of that Euro muck.

re: exchange rates

No offence john, it's just that you are the 1,000,000 person to ask that so far this season. So CONGRATULATIONS Razz

Take sterling, not torn or written on or they won't accept it, and as back-up take your plastic.

Expect approx. 2.7 levs to the £.

re: exchange rates

Are you sure thomas cook was offering you Bulgarian Levs because I was under the impression that Bulgarian law said there currency was not allowed out of the country hence not being able to get it from any Bureau De Change outside Bulgaria.

re: exchange rates

It is not a restricted currency any more and is available at the Post Office, travel agents, banks - even Marks & Spencers!
