fao boarders who can ski, skiiers who can board

right i can board and have been doing so for 10yrs now, never really wanted to leard to ski, but most of the people i go with ski.
which is more difficult to learn, skiing or boarding. just out of interest to be honest, as every1 tells me boarding looks too hard hence why they ski

Don't even think of it.

Why would anyone wanna ski when Snowboarding is possible?

I would rather sit out then have to sk (can't even be bothered to spell it)

Crazy! lol

Boarding, for adults i think is more difficult. I can do both but never ski.

Well i had my lessons.

Col don't they say that Boarding is more difficult to grasp in the early stages but beyond that you progress much quicker?

I am a skier would not mind giving boarding a try but have trouble staying upright on me skis!!

Dan,

Thats what i heard also. I taught myself to board after a lesson in the snowdome before my 1st proper holiday. Skiing has never interested me, but i would say blading looks like a lot of fun!

I would say that if you are quite proficient at 1 discipline then jumping to the next will feel very alien, but I think you can progress from beginner to intermediate a lot faster on a board with less risk of knee injuries since both feet are together.
