right i can board and have been doing so for 10yrs now, never really wanted to leard to ski, but most of the people i go with ski.
which is more difficult to learn, skiing or boarding. just out of interest to be honest, as every1 tells me boarding looks too hard hence why they ski

Thats what i heard also. I taught myself to board after a lesson in the snowdome before my 1st proper holiday. Skiing has never interested me, but i would say blading looks like a lot of fun!

Hi i Skied for 10 years before i learned to board.I found boarding hard to learn at first never hurt myself so much in all of my ten years of sking so much as learning to board but i really enjoy boarding now seems you can have more fun boarding it opens the mountain up abit more ...I think cause i could ski made it harder for me to learn to board ...i will be in Pamps sun 21 jan...

I would say that if you are quite proficient at 1 discipline then jumping to the next will feel very alien, but I think you can progress from beginner to intermediate a lot faster on a board with less risk of knee injuries since both feet are together.
