to let you all know!!!!
a very good friend of mine flew to what she tought was plovid with thomson fly yesterday sat 19th jan.
before travelling they were told they were going to sofia because of the horrible weather in plovid,they ended up in greece(dont know where!) had to stay over night because there were no flights to sofia .I have just spoken to her about an hour ago and today is sunday time 4.00pm and they are now on there way to pamps .Poor kids this is the first time to ...

She said that thomson rep was terrible and that they were unfairly treated ,not told any thingand had to wait 2 half hours for there luggage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

bulgaria have been having some issues with fog and planes not bein able to land at plov and sofia etc they will have landed at thessaloniki in greece and prob been bussed in over the border like we were. just remember the reps dont always know whats goin on themselvesre: flight nighmare
they have flown to sofia airport today no offer of bus!they prob have been there by now if that was the case waiting to here from them trotter

What is wrong with Varna or Bourgas.I dont think they are affected by fog??.That is a nightmare going to Greece when you are only there for a week anywayre: flight nighmare
I know neil feel bad for thembut with all the great snow in pamps they will have a ball.just had a text yo say have just stopped for food because they will miss the hotel meal she is really fed up and hungry but drunk!!!!!! BLESS. 
dont know why they didnt go by bus?She set off on sat at 11.30 to go to the airport

Varna would be 8-9 hours to Pamps and more to Bansko.Bourgas would be 5-6 to Pamps and 6-7 to Bansko
I think it's quite a bit less for Greece. There's an airport in Kavala too in greece which Thomson fly to in the summer. That would be 1 hour if they get a move on and open up the new road to Smolyan
But hey are having to build tunnels for the bearsre: flight nighmare
It took us 11 hours to get to Pamps from Greece, we thought that was tough, but those that arived last night really have had it tough, I do feel for them, esspecially if they have kids.re: flight nighmare
just hope it clears by next weekend as we are supposed to be flying to plovdiv.then night train to bourgas.i was told today by balkan holidays that their planes have not been diverted to greece- only within bulgaria.re: flight nighmare

That's right with Balkan! thwy will land within BG if they go at all. They cncelled lots of flights two weeks ago
