Just read in Sofia Echo that a Balkan are not going to Plovdiv this year due to the crunch and the lack of infrastructure at the airport. It goes on to say that Balkan transport around half of the total Brits to the resort of Pamps. In respect of this I suspect Pamps will be extremely quiet this year.
Does anyone have any insider knowledge as to if/when Plovdiv will have money invested in it?

I heard (more) rumours that they are building big water tanks to hold water near to the wall. Anyone hear of this or can confirm whether or not they are doing this.
To answer arrons question above - i was in Pamps at the back end of August and saw for myself what looked like a big concrete water tank being built on the left hand side of the wall.
Asked what it was but only had bulgarian responses. I now read with interest on the news section of this site that water collectors and the branches are ready to operate. Putting two and two together i rekon we may have something sorted for the coming season!!!
