re: food

re: food

Kel I know that Chikiemouse did not use the word crap. But she did spell out rather LOUDLY NON bulgarian food. Which suggets that she is not interested in trying it. As I said why bother leaving the country if you dont even want to try different foods? Confused

Just to stick my oar in - so to speak - I have to agree with Daniel - the posting did state "non Bulgarian" food. I adore travel and trying new foods, cultures etc. I take my young son and he tries everything because I have not brought him up purely on "nuggets & chips" and I encourage him to try variety. I simply cannot understand people go spend huge amounts of money to go abroad (on whatever type of holiday) and then ask where the nearest burger & chips place is. At least try some of ...

At least try some of the local food - as others have said - you may be surprised!

I was in Bansko this year, returning next and as Val says, would recommend you try the local mehanas etc. I stayed in the Perun hotel and always found the food there very good.

re: food

I agree with you Kim, 100%, however, is it better to not encourage posters rather than put them down like some people on the board.
